About JAV Beacon
JAV Beacon is an independent, English-language reference on Japanese adult video (JAV) for readers outside Japan.
The internet is full of pirate mirrors, “free streaming” traps, and sites that tell you to spoof your location. We built the opposite: a place that explains what’s actually legal, how the industry really works, and where the official sources are — in clear English, kept up to date.
What we do
- Explain the law and the culture, country by country, in plain English.
- Point only to legal, official platforms, storefronts, and creator channels.
- Cover the news, the awards, and the people — as reporting and criticism.
What we will never do
- Host explicit images or video, or link to piracy or uncensored material.
- Promote or send readers to adult venues or services.
- Use performers’ images or content without proper rights, or feature anyone who has requested removal.
